- Teachers know how to test for student progress.
- The teacher understands and uses formal and informal assessment strategies to evaluate and ensure the continuous intellectual, social, and physical development of the pupil.
- Educators need to be able to evaluate the progress of their students to properly know how far the students have come in their knowledge of their subjects, but also to know what they need to continue to work on in their classes. As a theatre educator it is important to monitor progress and give students feedback so they know what they need to continue to work on.
- The following is a rubric I created for my Acting 2 class as they were working on a character development assignment.
